Medical compression knee-highs provide effective support for blood circulation. They are medical devices intended for the prevention of embolisms, thrombosis, and other circulatory system disorders. Recommended for varicose veins and poor circulation.
The knee-highs provide graduated compression that decreases from the ankle upwards. Strong compression at a level of 18–23 mmHg stimulates blood circulation, helping to reduce discomfort associated with circulatory disorders, limit the risk of blood clot formation, and support proper venous return.
Unlike compression socks with a lower degree of compression, anti-embolism knee-highs have been designed for people with poor circulation, post-operative patients, people with limited mobility, and those who must remain in one position for long periods – for example, during long flights. As a result, they help in the prevention of deep vein thrombosis.
The open-toe anti-thrombosis knee-highs are made from high-quality yarn and an elegant, delicate fabric. A specially contoured heel has also been used to ensure correct foot positioning.
The open-toe design allows for ongoing monitoring of the foot's condition by observing the toes.
Available in several sizes; please check the table in the image.
